podcast. Oh, Welcome back everybody. Happy Late Mother's Day to all of the mothers, motherly figures, dog moms, plant moms, any type

mom you may be or those who struggled through Mother's Day, whatever you have going on in your life,

happy Mother's Day. And you guys, everybody that is any type of mother is so incredible.

Yeah. but with that there's no good way to

segue into this because this is a very very horrific case. It is a child and it's just I mean I've said this

before but of course like children cases always hit me hard but I feel like ever since having a child

It's a whole different reaction because like I always say it's you can really envision the way the family the parent the mother must have fell and that is nothing that any parent or parent or mother or mother ever wants to experience.

So it brings a different level, like obviously it's sad no matter what,

but when you're a parent, it definitely adds to the horrificness of it all even though that's not a word but yeah no it it's

really difficult and this is a difficult one and I was actually when I was

researching it I was telling my husband about the case a little bit and he was like I was like I'm just really struggling to like

Put this case together and he was like well why don't you change it and not cover

this story because it's like hitting you so hard and I was like but that's

exactly why I need to cover it because she her story deserves to be

told her name deserves to be known and you know it's hard to to say and put together and here but that doesn't mean you know she doesn't deserve to be remembered so yeah

so today we are covering the murder of Tori Stafford from Ontario, Canada.

So Victoria Elizabeth Marie Stafford, who went by Tori, which that is such a

cute name. I love that name. She was born on July 15, 2000 to Rodney Stafford and Tara McDonald in Ontario, Canada.

And she had one older brother, Darren, who was two years older than her.

And their parents separated when they were pretty young and they mainly lived with their mother Tara and her husband, it's unclear exactly like when Tara got married, but essentially Tori's stepfather James Gores, and they lived in Woodstock, Ontario.
