Hey, everybody. Welcome to you. We're born for this podcast with Father John Ricardo, Mary

Guilfoyle. We're a couple of missionaries at Acts 29. This is the podcast where we talk about

how acquiring a biblical worldview brings us great hope in the God who created and rescued

this world in order that we can be agents of transformation

and recreation. Mary, you look as tired as I am. I do. I thought I covered up all those bags

under my eyes. Oh my goodness. I'm so looking forward to unpacking with everybody our experience in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles

because it fits really powerfully, I think, into the scriptures that the Lord puts in front of us this week.

So without further ado, what is our topic?

For our topic today is, show me who your friends are and I'll tell you who you are.

Oh, I love this.

Good and gracious Father, we just, in a very special way right now, come before you to thank

you for the gift that is the communion of saints.

For all those brothers and sisters, your sons and daughters who are

surrounding us, this great cloud of witnesses, who have already run the race and kept the faith,

but who are not just watching us, but cheering us on and interceding for us as we take the baton from

their hands and run the race that's set before us too.

And so we ask through the intercession of all of our patron saints who are listening,

that you would just anoint us, this conversation, and rouse and inspire us, each in the way that you alone can do to become great

and to do those things that you've created us for in this world until the day when you call us home
