0:18.9	One of a team. I'm an Israeli government spokesman. I'm joined by
0:22.2	a few other veterans who are putting up a good fight. Thank you for being here, by the way. I was
0:26.4	actually very excited to speak with you. I know you've done 400 interviews already today. So it's very
0:32.8	late there. It's 10 p.m. there. So I appreciate you being here and talking to me and my audience about the
0:39.3	catastrophe that's happening where you are in Israel. Before we get into all the nitty gritty of all
0:45.5	the things I want to talk to you about, I find it very interesting that October 6th, like you
0:50.9	weren't even doing this job. You weren't a spokesperson. You weren't in media
0:54.6	necessarily. What were you doing before everything happened on October 7th? On October 7th,
1:01.2	I was a private citizen. I had a background in media. I worked as a news anchor in Israeli
1:06.2	public television and I-24 News as well, both anchoring in English. For the past two years, I was also
1:11.8	the international media advisor to the president of Israel, Isaac Herzog, a position I finished
1:17.0	last spring. But on the 7th of October, I was a private citizen, couldn't believe that the
1:22.6	earthquake and the cataclysm that we experienced with that massacre would have me a week later on international
1:28.8	television and radio making the case for Israel and trying to fight our corner on the airwaves
1:34.2	as we deal with the aftermath of that horrific massacre on October 7th and pushed ahead with our
1:39.8	campaign to destroy Hamas in response to that massacre so that it can never hurt our people again.
1:45.5	So how did you, how did you become the, like the face of? I think that everyone now pretty much
1:50.8	recognizes, especially if you're a Jewish person, recognizes your face as the, maybe you don't
1:56.4	say you're the official spokesperson, but in all intensive purposes, that's what I think of you as,
2:01.1	and most people would.
