Summary

The Dodgers have agreed to a 12-year $325 million dollar deal with Japanese pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto. This comes on the heels of the Dodgers signing Shohei Ohtani for $700 million over 10 years. Oh yeah, the Dodgers also have to pay an additional $50 million to Yamamoto's previous team in Japan. On today's episode I talk about the broken sport of baseball and the unbalance among the teams in MLB. I also reflect on the days before players demanding trades and free agency. Gosh, I miss those times! I don't see any upside to a team paying two players over $1 billion total dollars. I think this is bad for the sport of baseball which already has many problems. If you're a Dodgers man, maybe it's great, but I'm not even sure about that! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
