Hey everyone, welcome back to the FeelCrafts of Rural Podcast. I'm your host Kevin and today

I'm sitting down with Kyle Morgan. So I've been gotten, you know, we teased this a little

a while ago and I've been getting a lot of emails and DMs and stuff after me when this is going

to drop. So here we are. Kyle is a special operations guy who came in the army after 9-11

and really interesting career. I had a lot of combat time, but basically in 2015 Kyle was in

Molly on a mission basically and the Radisson Blue was attacked by terrorists, affiliates

of al-Qaeda and Kyle had to respond and go in there and rescue a bunch of people and this

story has never been told. So Kyle, welcome to the FeelCrafts of Rural Podcast. All right,

Kevin, thank you very much and thank you FeelCrafts of Rural for having me and I'm really

looking forward to this next mission or next journey in my life and telling my story is a

big part about how I think my new mission or new purpose in life is using my experiences

good and bad and telling a story about what a human being can do for another and potentially

aftermath if you can not process it or how you deal with something that's so dynamic as

that hotel attack. My mission wasn't to go rescue people for that. It was to work at the

USMC Bamako as a Special Forces soldier on a DOD mission advising the U.S. Ambassador.

So for me, it was a very, I had no time to prepare my mind body and spirit for violence,

which we did a really good job of. When you say you had 20 years in the military to

bury your mind body and spirit for violence, are you training kicked in? I would say my training

absolutely kicked in. Yeah, absolutely. But what I'm saying is we planned and in the military

it's such a robust process, whether it's in Ranger School, the five paragraph, op-order,

MDMP process and as far as the military, this is making process, it's actually, and this
