Two days before Thanksgiving,

I hope that each and every one of you

has an opportunity to spend time with your loved ones and maybe get off work and just enjoy and be grateful and thankful for what you have for many of us we sometimes overlook I think things of that

nature we take certain things for granted but Thanksgiving is always a good time to reflect.

You know, over the last several years and on my radio show for what, 26 years,

you know, I used to, I used to share my background. I used to share what it was like growing up on

Long Island. I used to share my experiences and some of my great stories but when I reflect back on Thanksgiving in terms of

being a sports fan I always remember waking up and you know, growing up Long Island, very modest house, middle income neighborhood.

My dad was an insurance broker.

My dad never drove a nice car, never wore nice clothes.

The only thing he did for himself was pay money to play at an outdoor tennis club in the summers in Huntington, New York.

They had six hard true courts and my dad used to be up there all day Saturday all day Sunday in the

summer on daylight savings time when he got home from work around 530 he would get out of a suit put on his tennis

clothes and he didn't get up there and be able to play for an hour an hour and a half
