It's another day in paradise here in Southern California. What can I say? And it's race

week. It is.

The first round of the 2021 F1 World Championship.

I feel like I said that 12 months ago and it didn't happen.

So pardon the minor tone of reticence in my voice, as I say that.

It's also the Bahrain Grand Prix week and I'm sure we only said that about three and a half months ago.

We did. We have this unprecedented situation where we've got three races out of four in the same venue,

and the preseason test was also in the same venue. So it feels like we'd be going around Bahrain for weeks on end.

Like, you know, it's been a long, it feels like it's been a long time since we've raced or had cars run on track anywhere else.

Yeah, it's definitely an unusual situation.

Can you recall seeing anything like this before with so many races a track so close together, apart from last year?

No, it's never happened.

I mean, we haven't had back-to-back races at the same racetrack until last year.

And now we've got Bahrain, two of the last three races of last year, first race of this year.
