How about them Diamond Dogs on their way to the College World Series? If there have ever been back-to-back baseball games played in a super regional, more entertaining and hard-stopping than what it was for Georgia, Mississippi State.

Frankly, I'm not quite so sure I want to see them because I'm not quite so sure I could

even live through them.

That is how intense the weekend was there at Georgia.

But the dogs come up winners in both of them now going back to the College World Series.

And I was saying this to our video audience just before our show began today, just a brief hello to them before we got started, that I've seen a lot of stuff. I'm very lucky. I've lived a very blessed life when it comes to sports and sporting events, my favorite team, especially when it comes to Georgia. I've traveled with Georgia, and boy, it's been awesome.

And I'm going to put this up on the top shelf with almost anything that I've gone through

in terms of for those who are there, for those who care about it, for those who follow this

sport and this team, the level of connection that existed between Georgia fan and Georgia player

and just everything that we think of as Georgia baseball, man, this was truly something special. It really is. And it's fun how much people take notice of all of this. Like I saw some of the national baseball writers. You know, there is this cottage industry of like national college baseball publications because it is kind of a niche sport. It doesn't get the

mainstream coverage. Even here at Dog Nation, we have to go where the audience is. That means

we're mostly a football show, mostly a football website. So you do have this cottage industry

of people that exist just for the college baseball

obsessives. And they were there this weekend and you saw so much of them on social media. Boy, this Kudzu Hill. Boy, this fan base for Georgia. Boy, this Foley field, it's a tough place to play. People were taking notice of that. I saw where Colin Coward, who's obviously as normie and mainstream as it gets, you know, typically talking NFL, a lot of NBA, you know, major national voice.

Around the time of the Georgia Mississippi State game yesterday, he was on Twitter saying,

college baseball sneaky popular and obviously paying attention to the way in which Georgia fans were reacting to all of this with the

Diamond Dogs, what they were doing. It is very, very clear that folks were taking notice of

the connection that existed here. And as I watch all this play out over the course of the weekend,

it felt like it was more than just fun. It felt like

it meant something. And I was thinking back, and I don't want to overstate it, but I remember
