Yesterday was another fun one, very busy for George on the recruiting trail front and we were on guard

for a pretty big response to what had been a long list of official visitors for georgia this past weekend

in fact there and we even mentioned this in the show yesterday that if you go back and look at when

um uh uh you know wakim guda had taken his unofficial visit, Georgia for

the scavenger hunt. There had been a lot of buzz around that leading this official visit this

past weekend, that this seemed to be one of those, you know, highly rated recruits that

Georgia seemed to have a real connection to and a real hook with. And that this is one of those that

in a day and age, which a lot of things with the recruiting are difficult to predict and some

things change at the last minute, this was one of those that felt like this just seems to be

trending in Georgia's direction. And there was, I think, something pretty comforting about this

in that, A, it was recruiting, as we've always known it.

A series of visits seemed to snowball into an eventual commitment.

And it seems to follow the sensible pattern of elite inside linebacker following in the footsteps of a lot of other elite inside linebackers who made the same

choice in recent years. This just really felt like, oh, this is how it's supposed to work.

Now, obviously that comes from a pro-Georgia lens, but from the pro-Georgia lens, which we

can do the show from, seeing a guy like Joachim Gouda, now out of McKeachan High School,

make the commitment to Georgia yesterday, felt like the machine in operation the way that it always has been.
