Today I'm going to teach you the 5 D's of busting through your overeating, your emotional

I'm happy to share with you today this really effective tool that I use with my private

clients and in my groups and it's a tool that I created called the Five D's, and that's D as in Dog.

Let's think first about what happens to us in the moment when we see food, or when we're feeling some kind of emotional feeling

that we're just used to escaping from or maybe we're just simply zoning out with other people and we find ourselves about to finish

a plate of food that we're no longer hungry for.

Well it's this type of eating that maintains your extra weight or allows you to put on that extra weight.

And what happens is you slide right into doing it without a lot of thought until you wake up and suddenly notice that you're

overly full and you really annoyed with yourself. What happens in that moment when you have the desire and it could be overeating, binge eating or emotional eating?

You see food, you're in one of those situations, you have a thought, or you have an uncomfortable

feeling if you're an emotional leader, or maybe the urge to binge comes up if you're habituated to binge eating. So when you have these urges or

these thoughts or these desires, the thing that you need to know first is that

their habits and you need to know first is that they're habits and you need to catch yourself

before you just react and go into the habit. When you have a habit your animal

brain that lower part of your brain which controls

automatic habitual behavior it kind of wakes up and it takes you right into
