The The Previously in part one of this two-part series, we examined the case of the treehouse murder in Key West Florida.

In November 2017, Matthew Bonnet, an eccentric juggler and street performer, was murdered

on his property, a makeshift dwelling on Stock Island, known as the Treehouse.

The nickname came from the wooden platforms towering above his

mobile home. That night, two masked men tried to rob Paula Belmont, a tenant who lived under a tarp

on the upper deck of the tree house. Hearing the commotion, Matthew ran to help her, but was chased down and fatally stabbed.

Paula recognized one of the attackers as Rory Detroit Wilson, who lived in a nearby warehouse.

Police soon arrested Rory, along with Travis Johnson and Tyrone Tucker, two other men from the same warehouse. During interrogation,
