Summary

On March 21, 1979, 18-year-old Carol Lannen was found tied up and nude in the Templeton Woods in Dundee, Scotland. She had been strangled to death. Almost exactly a year later, on February 26, 1989, the partially nude body of 20-year-old Elizabeth McCabe was found less than 150 yards away from where Carol had been discovered. Elizabeth had also been strangled to death. Are these murders connected? Police have officially said no, but with all the similarities many others believe yes, they are.
