Can we just pause for a moment and talk about how crazy college football is? Now, that's been

true for a long time and probably all of our lifetimes. And yet, it seems like the last couple of

days have been even crazier than ever. And perhaps no surprise here. A lot of this involves

Lane Kiffin, weirdly enough, where I think Kiffin thought he, I'm having to do my best

guess on this, I think Kiffin thought he was going to maybe get Trinidad Chambliss as his

quarterback at LSU, assuming that Chambliss gets the waiver he needs to even be eligible

for 2026. But Chambliss has said, no, listen, if I'm playing

football again, I'm playing for Ole Miss. This is the school that believed in me or whatever

else. I'm going to come to Ole Miss or should say stay at Ole Miss if I'm playing in

26, which is perhaps good news to the rebels. But nonetheless, that has put Kiffin in a situation

where all of a sudden now he's got to scramble to find his quarterback. And so they've had Sam Levitt on a visit there. You'll remember him, the former Arizona State quarterback, which I thought Levitt was going to Kentucky, I guess perhaps not. I thought that they were paying him huge dollars. I guess perhaps not. And then there's this crazy thing going on with the guy that we've never talked about

before, but perhaps you know, his name is Debonne Williams.

He's the Washington quarterback.

And there was news the other day about William staying at Washington.

And this touched me in a weird way because I do a weekly radio spot with our friends at 92-9 in the game.

Andy Bunker, one of the hosts, is from Seattle, big Washington fan.

He was just casually saying yesterday, hey, I'm glad our quarterback is staying.
