Here we are on what feels like three hours of sleep, trying to make sense of what we saw last night.

Georgia had a lead in the Sugar Bowl.

It slipped away, and a couple of key decisions made in the midst of that turnaround that was favoring Ole Miss

seemed to further ruin any chance that Georgia had to win this game. We'll obviously talk about that here today. And it's funny, as we're going through the postgame show, and I'm listening to the Georgia fans who are calling in and talking to us, and y'all, so many of you've made this postgame show, such a fun thing for me to be a part of. I love the in-the-moment reaction we're all having. And I feel like I

learn a lot from what Georgia fans have to say after a game like this. In fact, if you haven't

had a chance to see our show from very late last night, I think it'd be worth your time to go do it

because, man, Georgia fans were appropriately so in their feelings on obviously a season that comes to an end much more abruptly and far more prematurely than any of us would hope.

And as you're getting that survey from Georgia fans, the one thing that I concluded is that a lot of fans were taking their postgame opinions in a slightly different direction for me.

Not wildly different, but slightly different.

Let me give you an example to what I'm talking about.

If you asked me in the immediate aftermath of that Sugar Bowl lost Ole Miss,

hey, B.A., what happened?

What I would tell you is that Georgia got the scoop and the score and the blunder by Pete Golding at the half where they, you know, don't salvage their time well.

They don't get any points and you go into the half with a 2112 lead.

Your running game would look good in the first quarter.

It seemed like to me that Georgia didn't quite have a strangle hold on this game.

But moving to the third quarter, it felt like Georgia was maybe one or perhaps two plays

away from almost putting this game on ice.
