Like, patients get mad when they find out that a doctor put obesity on their diagnosis codes and they get their chart.

And the reason this is important is because those maybe with a class three or

class two, class even class one, but their stages are higher.

Maybe we just need to be more aggressive with those first because right now most

guideline just used the BMI or at least they did and that's what most doctors are

aware but we need to see where you're storing fat because when you start

waste circumference then the higher waste circumference will increase your risk of

death. Obviously the whole idea is when we eat excess energy, more energy we're taking in, then we're burning.

Our bodies are supposed to normally expand and our adipose cells or tissues are supposed to expand to store that excess energy. And's not necessarily pathological. What's

pathological is when they don't expand anymore and then all of a sudden we have

these free-floating fatty acids all over our blood and causing issues.

Obesity itself when we have this excess weight, there are a lot of pathological things going on.

Like I said, it's easier said than done just to, hey, you just got to eat a little bit less.

When you feel like crap trying to do that, it's not so fun. It's frustrating.
