Of course, a lot of discussion coming on that, and we'll get to it.

But I thought it was also appropriate today to talk about what's about to happen next for Georgia.

And to do it from this vantage point.

We mentioned this on Monday show that games in the SEC feel like they've never been closer.

Statistically, that is backed up.

That right now average margin of victory, as the Associated Press has reported as just 10 points per game.

That's about a touchdown lower

than it's been for about a 15-year period prior to that. So if it feels like the games are closer,

statistically speaking, we're led to believe that they really are. And as some Georgia fans have

joke with me that there's an entire generation of UGA fans, you know, if you're like 18, 19 years old, pretty much your living memory of college

football only includes the Georgia where Kirby Smart has been coach.

And obviously that includes a couple of national championship years, but even in like, say,

2017, 2018, when Kirby was first getting cranked up, Georgia was mostly blowing teams out then.
