As college football fans, we make a big deal about a lot of things,

and some of the things we make a big deal about really are that big of a deal.

Some of the things that we make a big deal about are probably overblown,

at least a little bit when it comes to the spirit of we just like having something to talk about,

so therefore we find something to discuss. Maybe an example of that going into Saturday's game against Auburn about what it feels like to play in the hostile environment that is Jurdon-Hare Stadium.

I can tell you that having been to everywhere the Georgia's been, so I haven't been to Kyle Field

in College Station, haven't been to the swamp, having been everywhere the Georgia's been, so I haven't been to Kyle Field and College Station,

haven't been to the swamp. Having been everywhere the Georgia goes, I'd probably put what Jordan Hare Stadium typically is, especially for a night-type game that's going to be on Saturday.

I'd probably put that at or near the top of the road environments in the SEC, challenging

for a team like Georgia. Tuffest road crowd

I've probably seen was that Auburn game in 2017. I would say all of that's real.

If you dig deep, though, to try to find actual empirical data, statistical evidence that supports

this, admittedly, it's a little bit of a

mixed bag. I mean, frankly, as of late, with Auburn not being very good, well, they're also

losing more games at home than they used to. A couple years ago, they lost New Mexico State,

for instance. You know, for some fans, it's going to be a little bit hard to believe. Oh, my gosh,

Jerdin Hare Stadium is a house of horrors and

this scary place if they're losing to New Mexico State. And I do get that. I do get that. Auburn

...
