So if you read between the lines a little bit, when we heard from Kirby Smart last week to kind of kick off Georgia Fall Camp,

I kind of insinuated in the show that I thought the press conference a little bit weird.

And I don't really know even what I mean by that.

I just thought that the vibe was a little bit off. I don't blame Kirby Smart for it. I don't

blame the reporters asking questions, but just something about that didn't quite feel the way I

wanted it to feel. I'm speaking as a Georgia fan here. And to a certain extent, some of the SEC

Media Day stuff was a little bit the same way, too.

And I don't make a big deal about that because Media Days is this sort of weird event.

When you're in the big podium room, the tone of the conversation is going to be directed by those who get to ask questions.

And oftentimes, and I don't mean this disrespectfully, but it's sort of a random collection of people who get chosen to ask questions.

And so sometimes you get sort of a random collection of answers coming from the coach.

And it ends up not being perhaps as valuable as it could be.

And I would say that for the last couple of weeks, as we've kind of rolled into the true start of the preseason and anticipation of the start of the season,

I think some of the stuff that we've kind of heard around Georgia, to once again, sort of use the

phrase, I just sort of think the vibe has been off. It hasn't been quite as energetic as I'd like

for it to be. It hasn't been quite as on topic as I would like for it to be. And I just thought

with all of that in mind, now maybe I'm

wrong. Maybe that's just my intuition itself being off. I completely own that. I am wrong
