Talking to a few folks in the chat before the show begins, pretty consistent theme emerges.

The belief that football is essentially here, and in every way we sort of measure this, that is true.

You've got NFL training camps.

They have started what preseason Hall of Fame game is Thursday.

Am I right about that?

So the NFL preseason games were essentially back.

People like to do this thing

where they say, hey, now no more weekends without football all the way through, you know, January

because preseason football in the NFL, at least to a certain extent, counts on that. So that

essentially begins. More important for our audience, Georgia training camp, fall camp, begins this week two. That means the dogs will

report. They'll be on the practice field. And the practice field means practice reports,

whispers and rumors making their way to dognation.com. Our guy, Connor Riley, always does such a

great job with that. We are very excited about all of that.

And we'll also hear from Kirby Smart and some Georgia players here this week, too, in an official

capacity now talking about the season that is kind of at our doorstep here.

So football is essentially here, which means that what we kind of think of as talking season,

that is now coming to an end.
