to everybody else, hope you're getting ready to take good care of your dad. We love this time of the year. I'm looking forward to kind of a low-key Father's Day weekend, maybe watch a little golf, hang out, relax, because don't need anything too fancy. Just spending time with my family will certainly be plenty enough, and I know many of you sort of feel the same way. Speaking of time, we're also going to try to make good use of your time on the program

here today.

And what we want to do is make, I think, kind of a simple point, which is you have seen

some chatter around what we presume is going to be, and certainly will be, Georgia's

starting quarterback, Gunner Stockton, for the upcoming season, That Stockton, because he didn't have the highest recruiting profile, you know, coming out of high school. He's, you know, a highly ranked recruit, kind of right there around a top one under recruit. Actually, people forget this. He is far higher rated as a recruit than Carson Beck was. I think it's one of those things that just sort of gets lost in the sauce a little bit, but it is no doubt true. And it's got nothing to do what we're talking about right now, but just one of those things that people seem to forget. But the point is Stockton was like sort of a top 100 level recruit, but not a five star, not someone as famous as like, say, Arch Manning or, you know, some of the other quarterbacks we've talked about in recent years. So lower profile as a recruit,

recent years. So lower profile as a recruit, been around Georgia for a couple of years, but pretty

limited in his experience. Now, played a big second half against Texas in the SEC Championship,

got a chance to start the Sugar Bowl against Notre Dame. We thought six quarters against playoff

level teams that Stockton did his job, got the job done.

We tried not to get too caught up in the height post-SEC championship, and we tried not to get too caught up in the, I guess, the attempt to sort of tear him down after the loss against Notre Dame.

We tried to sort of keep it in the middle

on that. I think we successfully did that around here. But what you have is overall, a quarterback

who hasn't played very much, who wasn't as famous as some of his contemporaries. And so therefore,

when you look at pre-season magazines, online content, social media chatter, what you see when everybody kind of ranks their best quarterbacks for the upcoming season.

Gunterstockton is really not found on those lists.

He is not thought to be one of the 10 best quarterbacks for the 2025 season by almost any media entity or media outlet that might
