Welcome everybody to Memorial Day weekend.

We're certainly happy to have you with us for that.

This is a little bit of a getaway day for us.

Our tradition around here is on, there's a small handful of holidays that we take off. Obviously, during the season, that's Thanksgiving and Christmas. We try to be here the other days.

And during the warm weather time of year this summer, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, you know, normally if we're not here, we try to have at least some sort of pre-recorded show or something like that, but there are a few times of year that we want to just really be off and in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, that's one of those things we think it's important to do. We also like the fun part of the

holiday as well. So for a lot of folks, it's kind of the unofficial kickoff to summer. Pools are open. Folks are having cookouts. They're doing all kinds of stuff. And so as you're getting ready to do all that, we hope you enjoy it. Just keep in mind that we'll be doing that ourselves coming up on Monday and then we'll see you back here live again on Tuesday the way that we always do. We're happy you're here with us today. And I guess kind of rolling into a holiday weekend, perhaps this is the reason for it. It sort of seems like we're all over the place a little bit today, a lot of little stuff on the show. You might say we're going to kind of throw a bunch of stuff at the wall and sort of see what sticks. Hopefully it's more compelling than that, but it does sort of feel like our brains are kind of spread out in a bunch of different directions here with this holiday weekend. So let me set up the first of what's going to be a handful of topics on today's show, something we're

going to get more deeply into with Jeff Sintel here coming up in just a little bit.

All kinds of rumors and reports out there.

We'll find out from Jeff what's actually true about this, but I assume this is true.

As it relates to Georgian five-star tight end Mark Bowman, as we are told from the internet,

the Georgia Titans coach, Todd Hartley,

goes all the way out to modern day high school out in California to see the spring game.

I guess it was last night, I think.

Maybe Jeff can tell us more about that here in a little bit.

Hartley out there face to face with Bowman giving you an idea of just how big time a prospect this is for UGA.

And the sense that I get is, is that in light of everything that sort of happened with Georgia

recently, we've always talked a little about Tyler Atkinson this week, we'll do more of that even today.
