Summary

On today's episode I discuss the state of the NBA game. Yes, ratings have been very good thus far in the postseason, but do you really enjoy watching the game now compared to past eras? The NBA game has pretty much come down to three-point shooting. Make more three's and you win. Shoot a higher percentage from three and you win most nights. Fastbreaks now usually result in a corner three instead of an automatic two. The game needs some changes. As Jerry Reynolds told me years ago, get rid of the corner three. That would really help the game. Let's hope that happens soon! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

You don't see an extra pass, you don't see teams trying to work the ball down low. You see a lot of dribbling on the perimeter and you see teams driving on three on ones and instead of a wide open contested layup or dunk, it's kick out into the corner for a three,

1:25.7

and that's the way the game is played. You know, I wonder what Jerry West thinks when he watches
