We're going to look back on 10 years of doing the show. I think there was one period of time for me that was unquestionably the most fun,

and it's probably not a surprise. It was after the 2021 season going into the 2022 season.

That's when I felt like obviously Georgia football was at its absolute apex, at least

up until now. But I also felt like that we were having a really good time on the show because

offseason after 2021, leading into 2022, we had, and listen, I've been wrong about plenty. You

could write books and tell tales of all the things I've been wrong about.

This isn't a story about, oh, look how smart I am, because there have been plenty of times when I'm not very smart.

I'm no different than anybody else in that regard.

But we got a big thing right.

And for the 2021 season, going into the 2022 season, we were all over the fact that we didn't think that Georgia

was getting enough credit coming back for 2022, that people were fixating on what Georgia

had lost off of its defense. And after 40 years of trying to break through and win a national

championship, I think that people thought, well, there'll be some natural regression for Georgia,

and they'll sort of go back to being what they were before. And what we said was, we're just not

quite so sure that's going to be the case. And what seemed to be this universal unanimity from any

media type that both Alabama and Ohio State should be ranked ahead of Georgia to begin

that season. George was only preseason number three, a year after winning a national championship.
