Hello everyone and welcome to the Stephen King cast, One Man's Musings on the Works of Stephen King, and I am back. I'm here to talk about the recently concluded stand adaptation from CBS All Access. Now, I'm going to get into a lot of thoughts about the stand, why I didn't cover it on a

week-to-week basis, but first, I just wanted to say hello to anyone that is tuning into the

Stephen King cast for the first time. Welcome to the Stephen King cast. What this show used to be was one man's musings on the works of Stephen King,

in which I reviewed each of the works of Stephen King in the chronological order of publication

and did a deep dive analysis into the characters, the themes, the conflicts,

and how they, they all interconnected with each other and what that meant.

So if you are tuning in for the first time and you want a deep dive that some listeners

have referred to as almost like taking a college course on Stephen King,

then please, by all means, head back to the beginning of the feed, start from Carrie or pick

and choose your favorite Stephen King books to get all of my thoughts and a deep analytical

literary dive into Stephen King. Since I had concluded that, it's kind of been a

hodgepodge here and there of just different topics. And what I have been doing for just about a

year is going back to the works of Stephen King from the beginning again and reviewing the endings of the works of Stephen King to determine whether or not he deserves the criticism that he can't quote unquote end a story successfully.

I had been plugging along at that until about October and then life got really busy and I had to

put that on a hiatus.

But I'm back today not to pick up where I left off, which will lead us to Rose Matter, if I

remember correctly.

But what I'm going to do instead today, I'm going to talk about the stand.
