I thought we got off to a great start yesterday with our first dog nation roundtable looking at the outlook for the Georgia offense.

Today I want to flip it around and look at the outlook for the Georgia defense.

And I would say that in general, offense generates a little bit more passion sometimes than defense does.

That's true. Even in a place like Georgia, it has the great history of the junkyard dogs, even in the national championship era, awesome defense, maybe the best of all time in 2021.

Even with this program in its best seasons, many times being defined by defensive success and the fact that Georgia's beloved head coach Kirby Smart is also a bit of a defensive-minded guy.

There's still going to be a passion and energy on offense for most fans in most discussions.

It probably isn't match when the topic of defense comes up.

But we would all agree because the truth is, the people that watch and listen to this show are kind of above average football fans.
