Boy, what a great feeling is to be back again doing the show with all of you here today, Dog Nation Daily, presented by Pella Window in Dorf, Georgia. If you are not aware, I was gone last week. We did a pre-recorded show Monday and Tuesday. Kind of a hybrid of some pre-recorded stuff from me and some of our Dog Nation friends, kind of joining in on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. I'm sure that was great. And it's frankly for me, fun to now be able to sit back here and kind of get settled into the chair once again. I didn't do anything all that like, you know, sometimes we've kind of taken a trip, gone on a Royal Caribbean cruise vacation or something like that. This particular year, schedules, kids, my wife didn't quite work out to be able to do that.

So I kind of sat around home for a little bit.

I don't love just sort of sitting around at home.

I can kind of get a little restless after a while.

But I tell you, being away from the show and then coming back to do it here today,

an incredibly fresh perspective.

I love the fact that, you know, don't really have like the Sunday scaries, don't really have like any kind of dread. I mean, I really love talking about Georgia football, really love being able to do this show. And frankly, you know, after some time away, I love the feeling of being kind of restless and anxious to kind of get back to it and, you know, ready to

work and really excited about coming in here today. So it is with that spirit, we get ready to do

the show. And we begin with what I think is a little bit of an interesting recruiting angle as

relates to Georgia. We have talked a lot about five-star quarterback Jared Curtis, one time Georgia

commit, then stepped

away from that commitment. Curtis then seemed to sort of expand his recruiting out where

it's like Georgia goes from the school holding the commitment for Curtis to being like one

of six mentioned in a top six not all that long ago. So we said at the time, hey, if we're being

honest, it sort of feels like things are going

the wrong direction with George and Curtis, important player for this class of 2026.

Instead of being the school for him, now you're one of six possible schools.
