Welcome back to another episode of Asian Boss Girl. Today, we're going to be talking about

friendships, because this is a topic that is highly, highly requested. I think when it comes to our

young adult, middle adult years, friendships really do morph and change, right? And there is a lot

that goes on, all variety of relationships that change, and what we decided to do was to put a

little call out on Instagram, and have you all write in with any specific questions you have about

friendships. So that's what we're going to be going over today. Are we excited? Let's talk about

friendships. Let's talk about friendships. The relationships that are platonic and non-romantic,

which sometimes don't get as much light, and don't get as much focused. Our first question

is going to be a little bit more on the challenging side, but I think we should just start out strong.

So this person wants to know if any of us have ever been in a toxic friendship, and if we have,

what is the best way to let a toxic friendship go? Yes, I have been in one. Have you,

ladies, been one? Not really? Oh, you're lucky. I think I've had good friendships that had

toxic periods. I mean, yes, I have been so I can answer this question. I feel like it's funny

because toxic friends don't start off as toxic. That's true. You're not going to enter into a friendship

if you know that it's going to become toxic. So at some point, you actually liked this person,

you know, whether it's because you were at work, and you were like mutually talking about how

difficult work is, or it's someone that you met through a mutual friend, and you're like

partying buddies or whatever, but at some point, you start to have more in-depth conversations

with them, and you start to value their opinions more, and you start to sort of almost like mirror

their actions, and basically what they do just becomes more meaningful to you. And at some point,
