superstar because I'm a fucking superstar in this competition I had my

wins I had my miss Cleos Like my dread career I fell and not only was able to make fun of myself because you have to but I grew from it. I do drag for the audience. When I'm lip-sinking to a RuPaul song, I want people to forget about their lives and just be like, I can do that too.

Reining as Canada's first ever drag superstar is just that.

Making people feel so loved that even if they have no one, you're their person.

Because that's how I make people feel that although I fall someone

looks at me and feels lifted and that's what I want to continue doing.

Prianka, Canada's Drag race, the first winner and you know looking stunning looking like a

winner on this episode and this cup of the week certainly you know I think is a really heartfelt moment what I did

love about this moment is that it a lot of the times especially in pageants, but like even on drag race, this is kind of a pageanty part of the competition show.

You know, it can feel a little canned, it can feel a little, know contrived but there's something about Prianka

she always feels pretty authentic yeah I think that's you know that's been consistent with her the whole season and why she's been a great

narrator and like really killing the reality TV side of this is like and she kind of says it she's like I wear my

heart on my sleeve and on my face and who you see in drag is just me in drag and I think that's all really interesting and really refreshing and I think that she certainly I think of the three in the top three technically probably was a little bit of like the weaker competitor and that she was in the bottom more often she kind of you know struggled a little bit more than the other two but when it came to the reality TV side of things and like the narrative and like the sort of the meaning behind the crowning it was like by this last episode

it was like well suddenly I'm rooting for Prianka okay you know like it it

suddenly didn't matter that Rita had won three challenges or that scarlet was never in the bottom, you know?

Yeah, there's something about Canada's drag race that, you know, I don't want to call it a cultural reset God.

But there's something about Canada's drag race that just kind of defied all expectations and said no no no no no we're gonna just do it this way and and yep we're gonna kind of just say this is a competition and yep this is how we're doing it and you know what you may not agree with us and that's okay because this is just just a reality
