Let me start out by wishing all of you a very happy Thanksgiving week as we kind of roll into that.

I love Thanksgiving. We have so much to be grateful for and over the course of our time together the next few days.

Hopefully we get a chance to properly express that gratitude. Certainly thankful for all of you who tune in each and every day, whichever platform you choose to use.

Now, you know, the news as it unfolded last, you know, late Saturday night. So let's jump into

that off the top here today. And I think it is fair to say that longtime Georgia fans sort of

understand that Georgia has had a little bit of a strange relationship with the SEC championship game.

For instance, in 2007, Georgia probably missed out on a chance to play for the

BCS national title that year because they weren't in the SEC championship. You remember that.

Georgia, after a crazy kind of final weekend of the regular season, top teams all lose.

Georgia would have been sort of sitting there like like, what, three, should have been

ready to kind of move into that championship game. But there's this big revolt against Georgia of,

oh, no, you can't have them in the national championship game. They're not even going to play

in the SEC championship. So therefore, the fact that Georgia wasn't in the SEC championship

was the thing that kept them out of a chance

to play for the national championship. And then lo and behold, a few years later, like say 2018

or this past year, the fact that Georgia did play in the SEC Championship was the reason it could

not play for a national championship. So somehow Georgia's sort of been on the wrong side of

the national championship picture as it relates to sort of been on the wrong side of the national championship picture
