This is one of those days where there's a lot of opinions flying on our show, of course, but other places too. You go on social media, everybody's just sort of shouting. Last night's college football playoff, top 25. And some of this goes beyond just the actual rankings themselves. And I think it's really important for me, because, listen, I'm an emotional creature like anybody else is, I think it's really important

for me trying to catalog those emotions and sort of talk in a way that hopefully makes sense in kind of a

clear, easy to understand way. And so I think in order to do that, so it just doesn't sound like

more like noise pollution of, blah blah shout shout shout shout

shout um i think it's important to sort of state a couple of things off the top so last

night the rankings come out georgia is 10th in those rankings it moves up a little bit after

fairly thorough and dominant win over a previously top 10 ranked Tennessee team do it that what you

will georgia moves up just a little bit

so we're obviously a little bit bothered by that today but there are things that bother us even more

so let me kind of go through a couple of thoughts here then I want to let you hear from some of the

official particulars involved let me start with this not everything what the latest college football playoff rankings is a huge problem for me. For instance, I don't have a ton of beef with like Ohio State in Oregon right now. Oregon is beaten Ohio State. They beat Boise State. They've been with the exception of this past week against Wisconsin, for the most part, handling their business in a pretty convincing fashion. I don't have any dispute that Oregon is probably a pretty good team. Are they the best team in the country? Maybe not. Are they a team that it's contending to be the best? Absolutely. So no beef for me with Oregon right now. I'm believe it or not, even a little bit similar about Ohio State, too. Ohio State hasn't proven very much in this regular season thus far.

The only real game of note they played, they lost to Oregon.

I don't count Penn State here because Penn State's never beaten anyone of consequence

for as long as any of us can remember.

So that's not really the kind of thing that lands on my radar very much, probably yours either.

But even if Ohio State really hasn't proven it very much

in this season yet, we're also not idiots, right? We can certainly imagine that if Georgia
