Let me begin with two things here today.

Thing number one is this, and this is away from football.

I want to wish and extend to Happy Veterans Day to all of the veterans who listen to our program on a regular basis.

I say this all the time, and I mean this as sincerely as I'm capable of, sincerely as I'm capable of.

The fact that people who are oftentimes active duty overseas you know, overseas or the fact they take our

show with them, listen to it there, allow us to be that sort of taste of back home while they are

in many cases in harm's way and certainly a long way away from the comfort of home, that is one of

the most awesome privileges I can ever imagine. A lot of, you know,

retired military, listen to our show, veterans from armed services, listen to our show. I take

a great deal of pride in that. My dad was a Vietnam vet. My wife's dad was a Vietnam vet. My wife's, I should

say my grandmother, grandfather, my mother's side was a Korean War vet, my,

uh, um, dad's dad was a veteran too. We are just, you know, I think so shaped in our family by

that. Many of you would say the same thing too. So happy Veterans Day to everyone out there who is

serving and has served in our armed services.

I am certainly, we are all greatly indebted to all of you.

I also want to say this, which is I began last week's show by saying there is a very good chance this Georgia team just not going to win the national championship.
