When a 31-year-old mother of two, Katrina Ryan, is desperately driving towards the home of her parents.

Katrina calls her mother every morning when she gets to work around 8 a.m.

They also have the same heartwarming greeting when she asks her mother what she's doing and she never fails to respond.

Oh nothing, just having my coffee. But today was different. There was no response and no coffee to be had.
