I try not to come on here and do a lot of self-serving, bragging and things like that, because honestly, you don't want to hear it. It would be the worst thing in the world I could do as far as, you know, making my audience grow and be happy is to come on here and talk about myself a bunch. So hopefully I don't do that. But in order to properly make the point, I think that needs to be made today, at least for a couple of seconds here to begin, I'm going to have to be a little bit self-serving.

And I don't do this to kind of prop myself up.

I do this because I think it allows additional context for what happened on Saturday in a game that was far from what Georgia fans hoped it would be

against the Kentucky Wildcats, a margin of victory much more narrow than what experts were sort of calling for.

So let's go back in time here just for a moment.

Before the first game of the season against Clemson, I spent a lot of that week leading into the game saying,

despite the fact that Georgia was about a two-touchdown favorite, I thought that Georgia was likely to win the game by about 30-something points, that I didn't think the game would be close at all. As it turns out, I got that exactly right. Many of you remember it, you're kind enough to give me credit for that there at the time. Last week, prior to the game against Tennessee Tech, despite the fact that Fandul and some of the

other major sports books had the point spread listed somewhere in like the 52, 53 point range,

I said the actual spread should probably be 44.5 points. The truth is Georgia won the game by 45 points.

In other words, I don't, and I hate to say this way, I haven't just been correct with my opinions on Georgia football thus far this season.

I have been precise and darn near perfect. And once again, I don't love saying that, but the results obviously speak for

themselves. And those statements about the first two weeks, the game against Clemson, the game

against Tennessee Tech led us into what I said last Tuesday about going into this game against

Kentucky. And this is one of those instances where I probably

am not happy to have been as right as I turned out to be. But in terms of the fact that this was

sort of seen coming before it happened, I think it gives us additional context for talking about

exactly what did happen against Kentucky on Saturday. So let me give you some audio and video proof here of the fact that the result for Georgia on Saturday was not as maybe unforeseeable as some would have you believe.
