I'm JJ Zacharisen, the lay-round quarterback, and as always, I am joined by my lovely co-host, Denny Carr.

Denny, what's going on?

How much it has been a fairly tough week in the fantasy community and industry.

As everyone knows, I'm sure who's listening to this show, we lost, you know, a key member of the community last week in Mike Taglieri from Fantasy Pros.

It has, I think it has kind of cast a shadow over, you know, over the past, what, four or five days and has, you know, brought a lot of things

into focus as well. I know that you started the late round podcast today with, with a tribute

to Mike. I thought that it was very nice. Yeah, yeah. You know, I, you guys can listen to that

intro because I wrote something up, um, sort of about my relationship

with him, which, you know, it's one of those things where, you know, him and I weren't like best

friends or anything. I'm not trying to like sell it that way and like be, but I think that in times

like this where, uh, someone that you know, you knew relatively well, um, passes away. You know, you want to at least

share your experience with that person, you know, to as many people as you can, who are all,

especially the people who are also sharing grief and going through this just horrible,

horrible, you know, life occurrence. I mean, it's, it's tough. It's

been tough, you know, over the weekend, tears were shed. It's just, there's a lot of layers to it

for me. And again, go listen to that episode to really understand my relationship with Mike and understand

what Mike meant to me. What he meant to me aside from just being a decent friend was just like

the drive that he had within this fantasy space and how it was almost obnoxious at times

...
