Here's your host, Brandon Adam. As we get rolling here today, let me give you a quick reminder of what a prevailing narrative has been on our show the last couple of days.

If you want to look ahead to next Saturday against Clemson, I think the easiest and most straightforward path for Georgia victory there in that game involves leaning on what was a tremendous strength for Georgia last year

in comparison to what Clemson put out on the field.

What we've said is, is that when you compare Georgia offense, Georgia defense, Clemson

offense, Clemson defense, on paper, the decided advantage in this game belongs to the Georgia offense, a much more high-powered offense in recent years, certainly last year, than what Clemson has been.

And if Georgia is going to ensure itself a victory or perhaps even an easy victory in keeping with some of the blowouts it's had in recent years against ranked non-conference

opponents, being the far better offensive team next Saturday is a really important thing for

Georgia to establish. We've talked about that now a couple of times. Perhaps you've heard us say that.

I want to give you a little bit of a, I guess, a statistical profile to kind of help back that up here

just a little bit.

And then I'll tell you what's new on this front here today.

When you compare these two defenses, you realize that while Georgia may not quite be what it was the very best of itself in 2021 and at a national championship level in 2022,

it was still a very good defense a year ago.

And Clemson has certainly receded a good bit from its sort of playoff perennial status

from 2015 through 2020, which included also a couple of national championships back

when Brent Venables was leading this defense.

But even in the aftermath of all that, this is also still a very respected defense, pretty much year to year.

To back this up, you know, Georgia last year was fifth in America in terms of points per game allowed for the season at 15.6.

They were also 11th in America and yards per play allowed there too at 4.77. So kind of right there in the two top

10 categories that I think probably matter as much as anything. How many points are you giving up
