Hello, everyone, and welcome back to the podcast. Today's episode is episode 226. As much as I want to delve a lot deeper into the radical right, I realize that it's time we pull the reins back a bit. Yes, there are a few more episodes on this coming up, but not nearly what I had originally planned. We're going to pivot back to

some more mainstream topics after I finish up with this one. Maybe it's time to do some work on Ruby or Tippett and the Oswald

escape route. Or maybe we'll go the route of the CIA as we had originally planned. Well,

we'll see. But regardless, there are a few reasons why I want to pivot back. First, let me say that I do care about what you want to hear

on the podcast. All of you qualify as influencers in that regard. I am captain of the ship, and

the ultimate decision is mine, of course, on what we decide to talk about. But still, I want to

know what you think, and what I hear from you

really matters. I try not to dwell on the negative, but the other day I did something that I

try not to do too often. I read some online reviews of me and the podcast. You've been through this

with me before. Look, most of them are great,

but if you are going to get a heap of criticism when it comes to podcasting, it comes almost

exclusively from an online review. And most of the time, from someone who uses no more than a

screen name to identify themselves.

I can only assume that it's a very unfulfilling way to be critical, by the way, to just use your

screen name. And on that, I'm just saying. And I do get a heap of criticism occasionally,

not often, but occasionally, and honestly,

a lot of it is well deserved, regardless of whether I like it or not.
