0:55.6	I've got the audio from a Wesley Swift sermon, and it's just the thing that lends itself to a one episode, mini-wander, so that's just what I'm going to do with it.
1:01.6	And the timing is right since we've just finished the episodes on Swift and the Christian
1:06.5	identity movement in general. But why this? Well, one of the overarching themes that is the underpinning
1:14.1	of all of these radical right episodes is that there was an underlying element of religious terrorism
1:20.0	that was the glue that held this whole thing together. And it had a stickiness that spanned all

1:35.6	about all the hate, the bigotry, and the violence. I know I'm oversimplifying things here,
1:41.9	but I think that really is the case. So in a little bit of a
1:47.1	mini-wander today, we get to hear from Swift himself. Since he is truly the keystone of this overlay,
1:54.6	we would be remiss to avoid listening to at least some of what he said. And he said a lot. His sermons are available and you can find them
2:05.3	well preserved online. So here are the excerpts from one of Swift's sermons and in the one I've
2:12.9	chosen, which was a sermon given on June 2nd, 1963, and entitled House of Peril and God's Deliverance.
