Harry Jenkinson, who is the filmmaker, director, editor, everything person for the Pink Bike Racing

series. I just wanted to sit down with him to talk about the last two years of his life which

have been all consumed by covering the team. We did have a small technical

issue for about a minute earlier on this podcast where my microphone audio goes a bit funny, but

please hold tight because it does come back. Honestly, it was a great chat. Harry and I go way back

having spent pretty much a year in each other's pockets and if nothing else, it was great to catch up. I hope you enjoy it.

Hello and a very warm welcome to Harry. Thank you very much for coming on. So Harry

Jenkinson is the director and for those of you that don't know just puts a huge amount of

time into the Pink Bike Racing series and has done so for the last two years. Harry, now

that it's all out there, how do you feel?

Hello, thanks for having me. Yeah, it's sort of surreal and sort of relieving.

Like to get something like that done is just like, it always feels like a miracle when you

actually like get it over the line.

So that's like the relieving part. But also sort of a bit, um, like I became very nostalgic for some reason like towards like the end editing process.

Like every time I was editing, I was like, I want to put a sequence in where it's just like all the great bits.

Yeah. I saw the sequence of the great bits and I like the my contribution was shutting a car door. That's real nice.

And also holding Glenn's hand. That's what you were most notable for. A whole year of work and you shut a door and held a hand

so can you just talk us through because i think you know we live in a world where we get so much

content and so much of it just appears online. But some of it takes a long time to

make. Could you just talk us through how many editing hours and even the editing process that

goes in to something like pigback racing? Because filming it with so many different storylines

...
