I have to leave in about an hour to go fly myself.

So I thought I would come and record some solo shows because I'm going to be on the

road for almost like three weeks straight. I have like two days off here and two days off there,

but it's a lot of flying. I've built all of my flight time into this part of the month because

we want to do some other stuff

at the back half of the month. And so it's been busy or it's about to get busy, about to be

a little chaotic. And that's okay. And it's a good thing. And today I was reflecting on a conversation

I had this past year. It was at the Latino Pilots Association. I met this guy named Dan Buffington. And we were chatting at the booth. Really interesting guy. Nice guy. Definitely very memorable. It was fun conversation. And he said something that struck me, it struck me so much that I wrote it down.

He said, you know what?

The word no is just two letters, but it's the word yes that makes the world work.

I was like, oh my gosh, man.

Like how apropos, especially at a pilot hiring convention, it's a statement he made,

like it's all about persistence in turning rejection into opportunity because it's so easy for

people to say no. I don't want you to get bogged down in the nose. I don't want you to feel
