Hey, Dog Nation, I'm Brandon Adams, and this is Dog Nation Daily, the daily podcast for Georgia Bulldogs fans, presented by Pella Window and Door of Georgia.

Our new year begins, much the same way the old year concluded.

Still some challenges in terms of how we present this show to you on a daily basis, but nonetheless, we do persist and move on because there's plenty of good things to talk about the Georgia Bulldogs.

So with that in mind, we begin today's show just slightly in progress here in the early breakdown of why there was a lot to like about Georgia winning against Florida State and why it helped the program and perhaps more ways than you realize.

So thank you so much for being a part of the program.

Let me use this as an analogy to set all this up. So yesterday, flying back home from, we were actually staying in Fort Lauderdale, flying from Fort Lauderdale back home yesterday and sitting in the plane and it's one of those things where like the video screen in front of you realized, oh, it's got live TV. And I said, I wonder if I can find a football game one here. So you click over there, you go to CBS, and you see that Miami is playing the Baltimore Ravens, big NFL game. Now, let me give you an idea of the level of NFL fan that I am. And eventually this is going to kind of make sense as it relates to George football.

I'm the sort of NFL fan that's very much the kind of classic casual fan.

I have sort of a median level of knowledge probably about the NFL.

For instance, I know that Baltimore is one of the better teams this year.

I know that Miami's having a very good season.

I know enough about the NFL to know that, but I do not

know enough about the NFL to realize they're actually playing at 1 p.m. on Sunday. So,

when I'm fumbling around on that screen in front of me, and I realize, oh, gosh, Baltimore,

Miami, it's a 1 p.m. game here on a Sunday for me to watch on this TV TV screen as I fly back to

Atlanta. My life couldn't be any better than that. I was very, very happy to kind of stumble

upon this very pleasant surprise. I am the sort of casual NFL fan that kind of knows who the good

teams are, knows who the good players are, but really had no idea of who's playing whom on a particular

Sunday. I'm pleasantly surprised to find that out.
