Hi there. Welcome to trauma ICU rounds. I am so excited about this week's episode. Joining me on rounds today is Dr. Eric Sims.

second time or third time recipient of our Golden Scalpel Award here at Harbor, UCLA.

And that's just one of dozens of excellence in teaching awards for Dr. Sims.

A couple weeks ago in Twitterverse, I noticed some conversation going back and forth about the difficulty understanding or memorizing

And as soon as I read a couple of these tweets going back and forth, I thought, you know,

in a way that totally makes sense and that is actually fun to

actually learn and easy to remember. And how do I know this? Well, I've actually sat in on a couple of

Dr. Sims' talks with our clinical clerks from UCLA and I was dumbfounded at the way that he taught

the quagulation cascade. And in addition to this, we recently started up our tag program here at Harbor, UCLA,

and it's been a long time coming.

And so the faculty underwent some tag training today, and I thought this would be the
