former Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm had an unbelievable at night last night for the Washington commanders.

Really the talk of the NFL world and kind of the sporting world here this morning is Fromm's performance late last night and what turned into be kind of a thrilling

preseason game on Monday night football

on ESPN. So we'll celebrate the Georgia angle on this before we're done here today. Before that,

though, the two teams that met in last year's SEC championship, George and LSU, could possibly

be facing off again in a big game here in 2023. And Kelly, who saw Georgia up close and personal in that

game last year, Brian Kelly, the LSU coach, and has seen Georgia a couple of times going back to

his time as Notre Dame coach, both 2017, 2019. He has been talking about Georgia some here this

offseason. And that makes sense. I don't think there's anything wrong with that necessarily.

Obviously, if you're Kelly moving into your second year there with the Tigers, you would aspire to

be where Georgia is. You want to win a national championship. And yet some of the things that

Kelly has said about Georgia as he tries to lead LSU in that direction, I think have been very interesting,

including if you want to go back to SEC meaty days in July, Kelly gave you one of the most

honest admissions I think a coach can give about even though last year, Georgia and LSU were

in the same field together, and Georgia and LSU this year could be a part of the same
