Livo and you are listening to The Theater People podcast. Hello fellow theater people. Welcome to episode 20 of the theater people podcast. I'm Patrick Hines, your host.

Today's guest, Telly Leung, is an extremely talented actor, dancer, singer, everyone knows that.

But you know how some people just have it all? Well, he's one of those guys. You see, he

discovered his performing gifts in high school, Stuyvesant High School, a super prestigious

high school here in New York City, which only admits kids with tremendous gifts in math and science.

So he's brilliant, handsome, and incredibly talented. His big break came in college, Carnegie

Mellon University, of course, where future Tony winner Billy Porter cast him as Bobby and company.

When the production was over, Billy made a call to his friends in New York who were casting the upcoming Broadway production of Flower Drum Song and got Telly an audition.

And wouldn't you know it, he booked the job.

From there, he was seen in rent, Pacific Overtures, and most recently in the Circle

in the Square production of Godspell. He was also cast as Angel in Rent at the Hollywood Bowl,

directed by Neil Patrick Harris, and he is also well known as Wes, one of the Dalton Academy

Warbillers on Glee. And now he's the head of his own production company. He's taken on the

role of producer for a new short musical film called Grind,
