I just woke up to the sound of my own screams. The lights are still on. I must have fallen asleep with them.

I remember laying down to go to sleep, and then a figure appeared in the corner of my room.

Bearded in wearing oil soaked coveralls, blackened and rotten, and a tattered red scarf around

his neck. The scarf, it was familiar, but I couldn't place it.

This figure, par-man, par-shadow, this gray man just stood there watching me. His body was

stooped. His face was too long. Job stretched in pain like he was stranded in permanent anguish.

I was paralyzed in my bed while the gray man came closer and closer, not walking just, uh,

so mal, closer.

I just listened to my last entry. My last recording.
