Lynette Dawson was reported missing by her husband, former Newtown Jets,

Robbie Leake Stark, Chris Dawson.

He said I was going to get a hitman to kill Lynne,

and he ran me and said Lynne's gone, she's coming back.

I just want justice, and I'd love her little girls to know she didn't leave them.

We are going to hear the voice of Lynne Dawson, who vanished without a trace 36 years ago,

who was murdered according to two Sydney coroners in separate inquests

by her high school teacher husband, Chris Dawson, in January 1982.

When Chris was in an intense relationship with a student from the school,

Joanne Curtis, who babysat Lynne's two girls until the affair was exposed.

And I hadn't put any thought about sharing him until somebody a couple years ago said,

what is it like sharing a husband?

For Lynne's family and friends, some of whom had forgotten her voice,

this is a powerful reminder after a long time of a much loved woman.

To me it was just a thing so silly because that hadn't put any thought in it,

and you just join in. You encourage their closest, not that it needs, encourages.

In a video, Lynne looks besotted with Chris as she speaks those ironic words about how someone thought

she might be sharing her husband.
