On the second installment of the series chopped, I continue the theme of chefs, cooks and restaurant tours,

who turned away from the stove and toured a life of crime.

This time, I'll tell you about a career criminal who has given a second chance in life by none other than celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

Ramsay, who himself experienced a rough upbringing, decided to use his fame to train and mentor a group of hardened criminals

to cook and run a successful food service business.

One of the men who Ramsay thought had promised was 33-year-old Anthony Kelly, who had spent 16 years of his life in and out of prison.

But Ramsay would soon discover that taking a group of inmates and molding them into a cohesive successful team was more challenging and fraught with danger than nearly anything else he'd undertaken in the three decades he'd been in the restaurant game.
