It isn't far off 7am.

Here in Solford, as I press record, on the old machini thing, the papers podcast with me,

Richie Allen, looking at the front pages of the dailies in the UK,

and then digging out some of the more

interesting and relevant stories from the same newspapers beginning today with the eye paper

for a change. Headline front page UK restricts sale of weapons to Israel due to clear risk of breaking international law.

Now, I'll come back to it in a little bit of detail in a few minutes.

A number of papers are leading with this story.

UK restricting the sale of some weapons parts to Israel, saying that, you know, the UK is saying,

well, we cannot be sure that the weapons we are sending and the parts are not being used to commit

crimes against humanity. The chief rabbi of the UK has come out very strongly against this.

This morning, I'll tell you more about it shortly.

You've got to keep in mind, when you look at the overall picture when it comes to Israeli weapons imports,

they take very, very little from the United Kingdom. It won't make any difference. Is it symbolic? Will it in any way, will it in any way

pressured the Israeli government to do a deal with Hamas and to end what is a genocide in Gaza?

And it might see the return of the remaining hostages back into Israel. I haven't a clue.
