Cupid and Tinder to meet people and make a love connection.

A recent survey found that one in five people pulled said that they met their partners online.

Making a match online seems like a great option.

You no longer have to hope to randomly meet someone who shares your interests, goals, and lifestyle preferences.

Instead, you can fill out an in-depth questionnaire that a dating app then runs to an algorithm

to match you with prospective dates that you are supposedly most compatible with.

But how could a job do these computerized matchmakers do?

An old saying is, you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find a prince, or I assume a princess as well.

So, does using a matchmaking app or website truly pick out just the right frog for each person?

Some say absolutely, and have great meet-cute stories about finding their spouse or partner through a dating app.

Others, unfortunately, have found themselves living a nightmare after being connected with the stranger online.
