I'm Henry and this week I'm joined by Matt Beer and Mike Kazma.

Now, you guys both like downhill mountain biking and for all of the

criticisms floating about for how the races are broadcast. We have to admit it is a great

years worth of racing. Leje was no different. We're in the US time zone, so it makes a bit more

difficult. But did you guys

manage to watch the race? Did you just watch the highlights? And what did you think of it?

Yeah, I watched the race. I thought it was awesome. It's such a good, I don't know, it seems like this

whole year, it all comes down to those last few riders, which is great. Like, you don't know who's think how many we've had a bunch of different winners this year and and this one was so good to see

Benoit get the the top spot after trying for so I mean he's I think he's 30 now so he's been

trying for a lot of a lot of years and he did it in France in front of like a home crowd basically

which is awesome yeah I worried if after qualifying after the the kind of repeating fast disqualifier winning the

semi-finals and then not delivering last week, I was worried he was going to repeat that.

And then if I happened twice, I'd worry it might get in his head a bit.

You know, I was really relieved for him that he actually won and an amazing one too.

Matt, these downhill courses, do you think they're really kind of right now representing

kind of what true downhill is?

It feels like there aren't that many courses that we kind of complain about anymore.

They all seem pretty good.

Yeah, I think downhill is definitely at the top of its, you know, sport.

Right. Like the sport is amazing to watch right now.

The semifinals, you know, you could take it or leave it.
