Hopefully this is the last one where I do the introduction twice.

Because I'm a creature of habit. I can't help myself. When the podcast

turns on, I always say hello to the Pink Bike podcast. Henry, we actually just like to hear you

introduce it. But don't stop. Well, I think I introduce it again separately in about five minutes,

so you're in luck. Good for us. Great. This week in the news section, I'm joined by Alicia and

Kaz. Alisha, would you be able to just tell us a bit about what's been happening in the world

of mountain biking in this last week? Yeah, so it's been a pretty good week. I guess the big news is

that the cross-country world championships just happened to wrap up our little stint of,

I guess, watching everyone fight for their world championships in every discipline ever. And so that's

been really cool to watch in Scotland. Watching XC can just be so cool because I think it brings an

interpersonal dynamic that just doesn't really exist in a lot of other formats. And yeah,

it just makes it interesting on

a whole new level, I think. So women's race was dominated by Pauline Ferran-Pervo, then Luana

Lecomte, then Puck Peter Se, all so cool to watch. The men's race also was Tom Pidcock, Sam Gaze,

and Nino Shurter. I know we really appreciate watching downhill

disciplines and following along with Enduro, but what do you guys think about following cross-country

and watching that happen? Yeah, it's great. I don't follow it super closely. Like, I don't watch

the entire race, but I do like to catch the highlights and see how it's going. And I mean,

it's impressive, just the speed that they're carrying, especially on the climbs, like watching this

course, there's a spot where you can also see, I felt a little bad for Nino because he was,
